JOHN LOCKE . LA FELICITAT NO ÉS UN VALOR CULTURAL ....

Arvo Pärt (born 1935) is an Estonian classical composer and a composer of sacred music. Since the late 1970s, Pärt has worked in a minimalist style. In his early works Pärt composed using a range of neo-classical styles and, subsequently, Schoenberg's twelve-tone technique and serialism. This proved to be a creative dead-end.He then immersed himself in early music, re-investigating the roots of Western music, studying plainsong, Gregorian chant, and the emergence of polyphony in the European Renaissance. The music that began to emerge after this period was radically different.
1977’s Tabula Rasa is a blossoming of his new-found style, where kaleidoscopic simplicity and bells are utilised in heightened emotion, both reminiscent of something archaic and yet never victim to Romantic escapism.
